With National Puppy Day (and our Puppy Party at Argenta Bead Company!) coming up this Saturday, I’ve gone dog and cat crazy in the studio. To celebrate our favorite furry friends, I’ve created a small line of dog- and cat-centric necklaces — and a wolf, too! It’s kind of a dog, right?

Cat and dog moms will love the line of bar necklaces celebrating their fur babies, and I’ve got a couple of bolder designs in the mix, because it wouldn’t be Bang-Up Betty if there weren’t a curse word here and there. These designs are in the web store now and will be available for sale this Saturday (March 23, 2019) from 1-4 p.m. at Argenta Bead Company in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas, during our Puppy Party. Betty the Cat Makes the News!

Betty the boy cat made his evening news debut on KARK4 last week, and the whole thing has gone to his head. KARK's Aaron Nolan stopped by the Bang-Up Betty jewelry studio in North Little Rock, Arkansas, to learn about my handmade jewelry and apparel and, of course, to meet Betty the cat.

13 Enamel Pins That Are More Fun to Collect Than Pokémon

I've collected a lot of things in my life... coins, books, Beanie Babies, ceramic unicorns... but nothing has ever been as fun to collect as enamel pins. There's a great big world of pins out there, and if you've just decided you gotta catch 'em all, here's a good place to start. Here's a peek at what I've gathered so far:

This cute pink pin has lady balls. What better way to say “ovaries before brovaries” and “uteruses before duderuses”?

When I first saw this pin, I shrieked as if I’d seen a ghost. It's such a morbid and subtle tribute to one of the best cult classic films of all time.
